COMING SOON

1st WA900 (UKRS)

Sunday 8th July 2018

RLSAS are running a UK Record status WA900 on our shooting field. The decision to try this was because the two day York / Hereford was becoming difficult to organise on the Rugby pitches and also because the attendance was making it financially impractical.

Unfortunately we do not have enough room on our field to put on a WA1440 but the WA900 will fit onto our field and still allow room for shooting shelters etc.

WA900 are not held very often, so we hope you will come along and give it a try – if it is a success, then this will be a regular fixture at RLSAS.

The Leamingtom & Midland Counties Tournament

166th Archery Meeting

A GNAS Record and Rose Status Event
Saturday 3rd June and Sunday 4th June 2017

Incorporating WMAS Senior Championships York/Hereford on 4th June

The Leamington and Midland Counties is the second oldest fixture in the archery calendar, having started in 1851. For most of that time it has been held in Leamington, and it has been organised by RLSAS for longer than any of us can remember. Many of the trophies are very special, indeed unique, and date back to the 19th century! For moderns and traditionalists alike, this shoot is unmissable! See a history of the tournament.

The main championship is a two-day shoot, gentlemen shooting a double York, ladies a double Hereford and juniors double Bristols, but medals are awarded for single day entries as well.

Tents and caravans can be accommodated for the weekend with toilet and shower facilities available. Refreshments will be available throughout both days and a Barbeque will be held on the Saturday evening.

The event is held at the Old Leamingtonians RFC, Bericote Road, Blackdown, Leamington Spa – CV32 6QP
