Another year passing was marked with the now traditional New Years Day Clout Shoot. The day did not look too promising to start with, perhaps this was why there was a relatively small turnout this year. However, the weather brightened and the first clout was shot. After this we all retired to the club house for hot mulled wine and mince pies. suitably refreshed it was decided that as the weather was still good, we should go and shoot the second clout and make it a proper event. The scores are listed below, well done to everyone who shot, especially Mark who came down the field to practice but ended up shooting his first ever clout and putting in a fine score.
