I am sorry to have to tell you that Brian Fennell passed away on Wednesday. He had been in Myton Hospice for two weeks suffering from terminal cancer.
For those of you who did not know him, Brian was a longstanding member of RLSAS, shooting recurve and longbow. Brian never failed to be at the front of the queue to help with beginners, have a goes, tournaments and working parties. We was always willing and eager to help and advise people with their archery, in fact Brian was my first tutor when I started on the archery beginners course.
When I know the funeral arrangements I will let club members know. I will be organising a club condolences card to be sent to Pauline and if you wish to sign this it will be with me at the RLSAS ground tonight, Friday 7th and on Sunday 9th.
